2023.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, referring to and relying upon the affidavit (Annexure 2) executed by the complainant,
[2025:RJ-JP:41359] (2 of 2) [CRLMP-6526/2025] would submit that the dispute of trivial nature has amicably been settled between the parties and prays for quashing of the FIR. The respondent no.2/complainant-Shri Abhay Singh, present in person and identified by his learned counsel, acknowledging the contents of the affidavit (Annexure 2), submits that in view of amicable settlement of dispute between the parties, he has no objection if the subject FIR is quashed. Learned Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer. Heard. Considered. Looking to the nature of dispute being trivial, its amicable settlement between the parties and the judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab and Others: (2012) 10 SCC 303, this Court deems it just and proper to allow this criminal miscellaneous petition. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed. The FIR No.0353/2025 lodged by the respondent no.2/complainant at Police Station Behror, District Kotputli-Behror is quashed and set aside.
