GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rdrespondent in conducting the investigation and filing charge sheet in connection with FIR No. 67/2022 dated 25.02.2022 is as illegal, arbitrary and violative of article 14, 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of code of criminal procedure and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation and file charge sheet” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.67 of 2022 and file a final report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not filed charge sheet by this date. There shall be no order as to costs.
