The accused-petitioner (for brevity “the petitioner”) has been arrested in connection with FIR No.0300 dated 09.09.2025 registered at Police Station Kotwali Jhunujhunu, District-Jhunjhunu for the offence under Sections 8 and 18 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for brevity, “the NDPS Act, 1958). [2025:RJ-JP:42638] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-12880/2025] Learned Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer. Taking into consideration the contentions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner, material available in the case diary, his length of custody, the quantity of contraband recovered being less than commercial and absence of criminal antecedents; but, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court deems it just and proper to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that accused-petitioner Neeraj Kumar S/o Sharwan Lal shall be released on bail under Section 483 BNSS in connection with afore- mentioned FIR registered at concerned Police Station, provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lac only) together with two sureties in the sum of ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) each to the satisfaction of the trial court with the stipulation that he shall comply with all the conditions laid down under Section 480(3) BNSS.
