(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of appropriate order or direction to respondents No.2 & 3 to take appropriate action against private respondents No.4 to 7. In compliance of the order passed by this Court on 04.04.2025, status report by way of affidavit of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police City and Cyber Crime, Chandigarh, has been filed by the learned State counsel in the Court today and the same is taken on record. He further submits that the petitioner has also moved a single complaint against the same accused before the jurisdictional police authorities, Mohali and this fact has come to light when the statement of the petitioner was recorded and as such, the complaint and record of the case has been sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali. Further, FIR was already registered against the accused persons in Mohali.
