The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mayurhand P.S. Case No. 43 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 271, 274, 275, 61(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3) of the B.N.S. and Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of Sri Edith Horo, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra. 3. On 01.09.2025, Mayurhand Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a pick-up van bearing Registration No. JH13L-7084 and on search, 21 liters of English liquor was recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the driver of the said vehicle. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 01.09.2025 and charge sheet has been submitted in this case. It was finally submitted that several co-accused persons who are apprehended at the spot have been granted bail by this Court earlier. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Edith Horo, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra in connection with Mayurhand P.S.
