1. This is a petition for anticipatory bail, filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Surakhsa Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as ‘BNSS’), in a case arising out of FIR No.202 dated 08.12.2023 under Sections 61 of Punjab Excise Act and 420, 467, 468, 471, 473 and 120-B of IPC, Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh.
2. Vide order dated 09.04.2025, the petitioner was admitted to interim anticipatory bail.
3. On the instructions of SI Sher Singh, learned State Counsel has stated that the petitioner has already joined the investigation and that presence of petitioner is not required for further investigation of the present case.
