This Court, vide order dated 04.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 2672 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Nandlal Ratghor, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the production of certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali, District – Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.08.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the case has been fixed for recording the prosecution evidence. Summons and warrants were issued to the witnesses for prosecution evidence; however, due to the absence of key witnesses, the evidence could not be recorded. It is respectfully submitted that after recording the evidence of 09 witnesses, the evidence will be recorded and the case will be disposed of at the earliest. Therefore, it is requested that the application be accepted and an additional period of six months be kindly granted. 5. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 05 months time for concluding the trial from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
