Neutral Citation No. (2025:JHHC:35226) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 10222 of 2025 Dipak Singh @ Chhotu, aged about 31 years, son of Shankar Singh, resident of Daigutu, Kaveri Road No.1, Mango, Azadnagar, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand- 832110 … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Jitendra Nath Upadhyay, Advocate For the State : Mr. Saket Kumar, A.P.P. --- 02/26.11.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Potka P.S. Case No. 59 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 309(4) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Sri Arvind Kumar-III, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur. On 07.09.2024, at about 12:45 P.M., the informant, who is the driver of the Hywa was waylaid by four persons near Pichhali Chowk. The accused persons took away the key of the Hywa and threatened the informant of dire consequences. They also fired at the tyre of the Hywa. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T. I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Arvind Kumar-III, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur or his successor, in connection with Potka P.S. Case No. 59 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) November 26, 2025 Jay/-
