On 19.08.2024 at about 2.00 pm, the petitioner informed the informant that her sister, namely, Bhava Singh, has committed suicide in his house. It is alleged that the deceased had taken shelter in the house of the petitioner. Suspicion was raised that the petitioner along with co-accused persons might have committed the murder.

It was submitted that the police after investigation submitted charge- sheet for the offence under Section 108 of the B.N.S. It was further submitted that statements of several witnesses have been recorded in the case diary, in which, they have stated that the deceased was having affairs with one Karandeep, who frequently used to visit her.

It appears that apart from the suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on record.
