The petitioner has filed this writ petition on the following relief: “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be 2 pleased to call for the record relating to petitioner’s matter. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the trial court, i.e. respondent no. 2 to take proper and prompt action in an election petition (Annexure P/1) bearing case no. 202505280300042 of 2025 preferred by petitioner in accordance with law & also kindly direct them to decide the same within stipulated time, preferably within a period of 3 weeks, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper according to the facts and circumstances of the case along with the cost of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition is not filed against any particular order, but the petitioner prefers this petition against the inaction of the respondents who have not taken any action in Case No. 202505280300042 of 2025 filed by the petitioner on 17.03.2025. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that the present petition may be disposed of with a direction to the concerned SDO (R) to decide 3 the matter in accordance with law. 4. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the record with utmost circumspection. 5. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, submissions of the counsels, respondent no. 2 is directed that after hearing all the concerned and affected parties, shall decide the case no. 202505280300042 of 2025 expeditiously, as soon as possible, in accordance with law, rules and regulations, if there is no legal impediment. 6.
