The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to decide his revision petition i.e. Revision No.191378720{22941/E-2(7)} dated 26.10.2023 (Annexure P-7). 2. The petitioner claims that he was dismissed from service on 17.09.2012 on account of his implication in a criminal case. He was discharged in the criminal case and on the basis of discharge, he was reinstated by order dated 29.05.2023, however, without back wages. The Appellate Authority rejected his claim and he has preferred revision before DGP, Punjab. 3. Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab who on advance notice is present in Court on behalf of the respondent-State, assures the Court that respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab would look into the matter and pass an appropriate order within three months from today. 4. In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the present petition stands disposed of.
