Petitioner has filed the present petition claiming the following reliefs: “10.1 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/direction/order commanding the Respondents to correct the gradation list published on dated 29.10.2024 on the basis of promotion order dated 06.11.2009. Digitally signed by V PADMAVATHI Date: 2025.08.28 18:50:17 +0530 Wps 10007 of 2025 2 10.2 The Hon’ble Court further be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/direction/order commanding the respondents to consider the Petitioner for promotion to the post of “Principal” as per corrected/amended gradation list. 10.3 In alternative, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents authorities to decide representation submitted by the Petitioner, as early as possible so that he may be considered for promotion. 10.4 Any other relief(s), which may deems fit, looking to the facts & circumstances of the case may be given to the Petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner restricted her submission that petitioner was appointed on 28.04.1992, and his name finds place at Sl.No.529 in the Gradation List dated 29.10.2024, whereas, name of respondent-6, who is junior to the petitioner has been placed at Sl.No.518 in the said Gradation List. Petitioner has moved his representation, Annexure P3 dated 02.05.2025 for correction in the Gradation List to respondent-4, who in turn, has referred the matter on 06.05.2025, Annexure P5, to respondent-2 to take appropriate decision on the representation but till date, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered, and now, posting of Head Master are being started by the Department. Therefore, respondents- 2 and 4 may be directed to take decision on the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel would submit that they have no objection if such a direction is made to the respondent authority concerned to decide representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. 4. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition stands disposed of directing respondents-2 and 4 to take a decision on the pending representation dated Wps 10007 of 2025 3 02.05.2025, Annexure P2, and the recommendation sent by respondent-4, Annexure P5 dated 06.05.2025, within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, in accordance with law, and applicable rules and Circulars, governing the field, on its own merits. 5.
