The matter is taken up in National Lok Adalat.
Mr. Manish Kumar, learned counsel for the Insurance Company along with Mr. Rakesh Ranjan Prasad, Assistant Manager, United India Insurance Company Ltd. and Ms. Poonam Tete, Deputy Manager, United India Insurance Company Ltd. present. Md. Mobin Ahmad, learned counsel for the claimants/respondents is also present.
It has been stated by both the sides that matter has been amicably settled between the parties before Mediation Centre, Jharkhand High Court Legal Services Committee, Ranchi on 12.09.2025.
It has been agreed between both the sides that Insurance Company shall deposit Rs. 5,56,481/-( Five lacs fifty six thousand four hundred eighty one) within 30 days.
Learned counsel for the Insurance Company submitted that by the order of Appellate Court, Insurance Company has deposited the awarded amount as well as the interest before the Tribunal till the year 2019 is of Rs. 5,56,481/- (Five lacs fifty six thousand four hundred eighty one) for which a cheque has

already been deposited before the Tribunal, but same has become stale and after taking the same from concerned Tribunal, it has been agreed between the parties that Insurance Company shall deposit the above-said amount within 30 days in the account of the Tribunal, Palamau at Daltonganj and the Tribunal shall give the said amount to the claimants after due verification. Needless to say that learned Registrar General shall return the statutory amount deposited by the Insurance Company in the present matter.
In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the present case is hereby disposed of. ………………………….
