This petition is filed by the petitioner-State of Rajasthan seeking quashing of the order dated 12.06.2007 passed by the Rajasthan Tax Board (for short ‘the Board’). 2. The litigation originates with regard to property purchased by the respondent No.1 for a consideration of Rs.50,000/-. The Sub Registrar evaluated the property at Rs.2,44,000/-, but the Collector determined the value at Rs.2,00,000/-. The order of the Collector was ultimately quashed by the Board by the impugned order and the value as given in the sale deed was maintained. 3. This petition is pending since the year 2008, till date the private respondent has not been served. [2025:RJ-JP:7426-DB] (2 of 2) [CW-417/2008] 4. From the perusal of the pleadings, it is forthcoming that the amount involved in dispute is less than Rs.10,000/-. 5. Considering paltry amount involved and the petition is pending for last 18 years, no case is made out for interference in the writ jurisdiction. The petition is dismissed. 6.
