By means of present petition, petitioners seek to set aside the charge-sheet dated 15.12.2017, summoning order dated 16.05.2018 passed by C.J.M., Rudrapur as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.49 of 2022 “State of Uttarakand vs. Sanjeet and others” pending before IIIrd Additional Sessions Judge, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar. 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court, vide order dated 20.03.2025, had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar has submitted report dated 26.03.2025 which indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and 1 2025:UHC:2503 have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application IA No.1/2025 is allowed. As a consequence thereof, charge-sheet dated 15.12.2017, summoning order dated 16.05.2018 passed by C.J.M., Rudrapur as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.49 of 2022 “State of Uttarakand vs. Sanjeet and others” pending before IIIrd Additional Sessions Judge, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, is hereby quashed. 5. Accordingly, present petition is disposed of, on the basis of compromise/settlement arrived at between the parties.
