Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Kunda P.S Case No. 03/2024, for the offences registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 120B of IPC, Sections 25(1-A), 26, 27, 35 of Arms Act and Section 17(i)(ii) of CLA Act, pending in the Court of learned A. C. J. M., Chatra. On 05.01.2024 at about 11:00 A.M., Kunda police received confidential information that some extremists belonging to TSPC cadre had assembled near Bhaismara. On the basis of this information, the police party went to the place of occurrence. On seeing the police party, the extremists opened fire. There was exchange of fire between both the parties. However, on being overpowered the extremists, fled away. On search arms and ammunitions were recovered from the place of occurrence. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confidential information. It was further submitted that no police personnel were injured in the said occurrence. It was finally submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A. C. J. M., Chatra, in connection with Kunda P.S Case No. 03/2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) November 26, 2025 Jay/-
