Amended memo of parties is taken on record. Registry to do the needful. MAIN APPEAL / CROSS OBJECTION At the outset, learned counsel(s) for the appellant(s) as well as GMADA submit(s) that the present appeal is squarely covered by the judgment dated 05.11.2009 passed by this Court in a bunch of appeals, lead case of which was RFA No. 2378 of 2000, titled “State of Punjab Versus Gurdial Chand and others”, whereby the appeals preferred at the instance of landowners as well as by the State were dismissed, while maintaining the determination of the market value by the learned Reference Court. [2] On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents/cross-objectors is not in a position to controvert the above factual position. [3] After going through the judgment passed in Gurdial Chand’s case (supra) as well as the facts of the present case, this Court agrees with the assertion of the learned counsel for the appellant(s)/GMADA. [4] Consequently, the present appeal and cross-objections are dismissed in the same terms as Gurdial Chand’s case (supra). [5] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall stand(s) disposed off.
