Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 349 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2885 of 2025, for the offence under Section 69 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Shri Abishek Srivastava, learned JMFC, Ranchi.
On the pretext of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix, who is a major lady. Later on, he refused to marry her.
It was submitted that petitioner is ready to marry the informant, but her family members are not ready to solemnize their marriage.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Shri Abishek Srivastava, learned JMFC, Ranchi, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 349 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2885 of 2025.
