The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 134 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 287, 288, 125, 317(5), 316(2), 318(4) & 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 3 & 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

On 15.08.2025, Hunterganj Police apprehended several accused persons while they were transporting 630 litres of adulterated petrol on a Mahindra Magic vehicle bearing registration no. JH19D-1613 at Pandeypura Petrol Pump.

It was submitted that the report regarding chemical examination of petrol recovered from possession of the petitioner is still awaited. It was further submitted that co-accused Sunil Kumar Keshari @ Sunil Kumar has been granted bail by this Court earlier.

Learned Spl. P.P. appearing on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 134 of 2025.
