Hon’ble Shri Bibhu Datta Guru, Judge Order on Board 27/02/2025 Heard. 1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking limited prayer that the respondent/ SDO (Revenue) be directed to conclude the proceeding in Revenue case number 201505070600037-A6/2020-21 in pursuance to the order sheet of the Additional Collector dated 13.07.2021 which is pending since 01.01.2006. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application for mutation of name for land bearing khasra No. 356 and 424/1 situated at Amanala, Village Thadpathara, P.C. No. 24 Tehsil Gaurela, Dist. Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. is pending before the authority since 01.01.2006 and is not being decided for one or other reason. He further submits that by order dated 13.07.2021 Additional Collector has observed that the SDO (Revenue) is appropriate authority to decide the matter and
3 sent the matter to the SDO (Revenue), however, till date the said application has not been decided. 3. Learned State counsel submits that if the application dated 01.01.2006 is pending before the SDO (Revenue) then the said application will be considered and necessary steps will be taken in accordance with the law within stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the various proceedings and order sheet annexed with the petition. 5. Perusal of the documents shows that the revenue authorities have adjourned the hearing of the application filed by the petitioner on several grounds. However, the Additional Collector by order dated 13.07.2021 has sent the matter to the SDO (Revenue) for disposal and now the application appears to be pending before the SDO (Revenue). 6.
Considering the same, the SDO (Revenue) is directed to decide the application pending before him since 2006 within a peirod of 45 days from today, in accordance with law. 7. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. Sd/-
