JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR RAI ------- For the Petitioner :Ms. Priyanka Agrawal, Advocate For the Resp.-State :Mr. Aditya Raman, A.C. to G.A.-III ------ Order No.05/Dated 04th December, 2025 1. As would be evident from the order dated 06.11.2025, time was sought on behalf of the petitioner to file an appropriate application, in view of the fact that during the pendency of the writ petition, an order extending the period of detention has been passed. However, no application has been filed challenging the detention order dated 24.10.2025. 2. Admittedly, no application has been filed challenging the order dated 24.10.2025, and the period of detention has already lost its force on 01.11.2025. 3. This Court is of the view that, the order extending the period of detention further vide order dated 24.10.2025 having not been challenged, hence the present writ petition has lost its force. 2025:JHHC:36316-DB Page 2 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that liberty may be given to challenge the order of detention dated 24.10.2025. Such liberty is reserved to the writ petitioner to challenge the said order by filing an appropriate application before the appropriate forum. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition, being W.P. (Cr.) No. 599 of 2025, is dismissed and stands disposed of. (Sujit Narayan Prasad, J.) (Arun Kumar Rai, J.) 04.12.2025 Umesh/Abhishek
