2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 158 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 331(4) and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.
3. On 19.06.2025, theft was committed in the shop of the Informant. Unknown persons took away Rs. 80,000/- from there.
4. It was submitted that from the possession of the petitioner and co- accused Mohit Kumar, Rs. 16,350/- were recovered.
5. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the bail application of the co-accused Mohit Kumar has been rejected in B.A. No. 8185 of 2025, from perusal of which, it transpires that his bail application was rejected on the ground that he had criminal antecedent. From perusal of para-28 of the case diary, it transpires that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 158 of 2025.
