This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to Issue a writ, order or direction, particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in summoning me to Kodur Police Station as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution and consequently direct that any inquiry, if required, be conducted before the Superintendent of Police, Annamayya District, permitting the presence of counsel, ensuring video recording and to pass..…”
2. Heard Sri Bhaskar Prem Koushik, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the Official Respondents.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the Police never called the Petitioner to appear before them and they have not issued any notice to the Petitioner to appear before them.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
