GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: vORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.3 in harassing the petitioner by calling him to police station and restraining him at the Police Station at the behest of 4th Respondent and further threatening him to pay amounts as demanded by the 4th Respondent arising out of civil disputes is illegal, arbitrary and discriminative and violative Articles 14, 19 2 and 21 of the Constitution of India and Consequently direct the Respondent No.3 not to harass the Petitioner by interfering in civil disputes.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by the Petitioner in Spandana, the Petitioner was called to the Police Station for enquiry. It is further submit that, Police on coming to know that the matter is of civil nature, advised both parties to settle the matter before competent Court. It is further submitted that the Police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioner and the unofficial Respondent. 3. Sri Malireddy Gowtham, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
