Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No- 320/2023, Corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.16/2023, for the offence under sections 20/20(b)(ii)/22 of NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Palamau. On 31.07.2023 at about 08:30 P.M co-accused persons were apprehended by Daltonganj town police and on search 10.36 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession. They named the petitioner in their confession. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that though, the petitioner is named in the FIR but his name has transpired in the confession of apprehended accused persons. It was further submitted that similarly situate co-accused Rahul Kumar, who was apprehended at the spot has been granted bail by this Court earlier. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Palamau in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S.
