NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation filed by petitioners dated 06.07.2023, 14.02.2024, 06.03.2024, 14.02.2024 and 29.02.2024 as per Annexures G, G1 to G4, respectively for grant of arrears and difference amount of terminal benefits along with interest, while granting 4th and 5th time - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32945 WP No. 31725 of 2024 bound promotion w.e.f. 01.04.2018 as per office order bearing No. KHDC/Vyani/Administration/ PraKa/2021-2022/194 dated 17.05.2021, office order bearing No.KHDC/Vyani/Administration/ PraKa/2021- 2022/1861 dated 17.02.2022, Office order No. KHDC/Vyani/Administration/PraKa/2021-2022/1858 dated 17.02.2022 issued by the respondent Corporation as per Annexures B, C and D, respectively and also as per the information furnished by the respondent Corporation through RTI dated 16.05.2023 as per Annexure-F.” 2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were appointed as workmen category I to III in the respondent – Corporation in the years 1985-1992. After completion of 32 years, they were retired from the service, on attaining the age of superannuation. After the retirement, the respondent – Corporation has settled the terminal benefits. While settling the retirement benefits, there is a variation in respect of granting 4th and 5th time bound promotion. Therefore, petitioners submitted representations vide Annexures G, G1 to G4 series. Since the respondent has not considered the same, the petitioners are before this Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32945 WP No. 31725 of 2024 3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent – Corporation submits that, if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representations submitted by the petitioners would be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners vide Annexures G, G1 to G4, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
