This Court made the following ORDER:
1. This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief:
“to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in unilaterally placing the lands of the petitioner admeasuring an extent of Ac.1-87 cents in S.No.1250-1B, an extent of Ac.1-00 cents in S.No.1253-4 and an extent of Ac.1-00 cents in S.No. 1258-1 of Guntur Village, Guntur East Mandal, Guntur District in the list of Prohibition of Registration of certain documents U/s.22- A(1)(a) of Registration Act, 1908 as, illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of u natural justice, without jurisdiction and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300(A) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to delete the subject lands from the list of prohibitory documents and to pass…”
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The present Writ Petition is filed, aggrieved by the alleged action of the respondent authorities in unilaterally including the petitioner’s lands admeasuring Ac. 1.87 cents in S.No. 1250-1B, Ac. 1.00 cent in S.No. 1253-4, and Ac. 1.00 cent in S.No. 1258-1 of Guntur Village, Guntur East

Mandal, Guntur District, in the prohibitory list of properties under Section 22-A(1)(a) of the Registration Act, 1908. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a representation dated 16.07.2024, and also submitted an online application dated 03.11.2024 to the 2nd respondent/District Collector, seeking deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory list notified under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908.
Despite receipt of the petitioner’s representation and online application, the 2nd respondent has neither considered the same nor passed any orders till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5. Considering the above submissions, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is of the view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent/District Collector to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 16.07.2024 and online application dated 03.11.2024, strictly in accordance with law, after obtaining necessary reports from the concerned authorities. The said exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ::4::
