The Court made the following ORDER: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice R.Raghunandan Rao)
Sri Ramalingeswara Rao Kocharlakota, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the orders of this Court, dated 23.02.2022 in W.P.No.43301 of 2018 have been complied with as the petitioner has now appointed as Junior Assistant on 08.10.2025 in the Irrigation department. 2. Sri V.Mallik, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, submits that the inordinate delay of seven (7) years in complying with the directions of this Court, requires to be considered by this Court. 3. Learned counsel would also submit that the inordinate delay has affected seniority and further promotional avenues of the petitioner. 4. As the jurisdiction of this Court, in contempt jurisdiction, would not extended to further directions being given, it would be appropriate to close this Contempt Case, leaving it open to the petitioners to agitate their rights in an appropriate forum. 5. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
