The grievance of the petitioner is that despite a sale deed being registered in favour of the petitioner in terms of the judgment and decree passed in favour of the petitioner in O.S.No.14/2022 on the file of the learned Additional Civil Judge and JMFC, Srirangapattana, the second respondent - Tahsildar has not entered the name - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37785 WP No. 26040 of 2025 of the petitioner in the revenue records. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this court to Annexure-C copy of the sale deed dated 13.05.2025 which was registered in the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Srirangapattana on 15.05.2025. 2. In the considered opinion of this court, the second respondent - Tahsildar is duty bound to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pursuant to the registered sale deed and the J-Slip having been issued from the Office of the Sub-Registrar. 3. In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent - Tahsildar, Srirangapattana Taluk, to proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pursuant to the registered sale deed after obtaining the J- Slip from the concerned sub-Registrar. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously and at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37785 WP No. 26040 of 2025 Learned High Court Government Pleader is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
