GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in not registering the complaint dated 20.09.2024 and subsequent representations of the petitioners, as illegal, arbitrary, mala fide, and violative of Articles 14, 21, 2 and 300-A of the Constitution of India, and contrary to the provisions of Section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Consequently, direct the 3rd respondent police to forthwith register a case/FIR on the basis of the petitioners complaint dated 20.09.2024 and conduct a fair, impartial, and independent investigation strictly in accordance with law against the unofficial respondents and Pass.” 2. Heard Sri. S V Ruthvik, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Md.Farooq Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that the representation of the petitioner is closed since several cases have been lodged against the husband of the petitioner. The police have also communicated the same to the petitioner by the Sub Divisional Police Officer. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is a liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum according to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
