The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 271 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 21(a)/21(b)/22(b)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. On 26.08.2025 at about 11:10 A.M., Gumla police on the basis of confidential information raided the house of this petitioner and apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused Shahnawaz Alam and on search, 10 grams of brown sugar were recovered from there. It was submitted that quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of similar nature. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
