GP FOR HOME The Court made the following Order: [[ This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “ … to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent herein in calling the petitioner to the police station at the behest of respondent Nos. 5 and 6 and threatening to withdraw the suit O.S.No. 88 of 2023 pending on the file of the Junior Civil Judge at Koilkuntia and thereby causing interference in the civil disputes, as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unconstitutional and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 herein to take action against the 4th respondent for causing interference in the civil disputes, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”. 2. Heard Sri J.Janakirami Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the Police are interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioner and un-official respondents. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that Police are not calling the petitioners to the police station and are not interfering in civil disputes between the parties. 3 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed not to interfere in civil disputes between the parties except due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
