The instant Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, by the Petitioner herein/A11, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.81 of 2025 of Kodumur Police Station, Kurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1) and 351(2) read with 3(5) of BNS.
2. Heard Sri B.Rama Shankar Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. It is further submitted that the petitioner was not present at the alleged scene of offence. Learned counsel also contends that the police have deliberately shown his name as an accused in the case.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the investigation is at a nascent stage, and only upon its completion will the truth emerge.
5. Considering the submissions, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the police and submit any material to establish his innocence. The respondent-police shall look into such information during the course of investigation, take an appropriate decision, and conclude the investigation by filing a report in accordance with law. Needless to say, it is the duty of the Investigating Officer to gather the best possible information, both in favour of and against the accused, and to place before the Court all material collected during the course of investigation.
