Applicant has filed this first bail application under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 22/2024 registered at Police Station – Basantpur, District Rajnandgaon (C.G.) for offence punishable under Sections 302, 34, 149 of IPC. 2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for applicant submits that he is not pressing this application at this stage, he may be permitted to withdraw this application. He however, submits that looking to the period of incarceration of applicant since 19.01.2024, learned Trial Court be directed to expedite the trial.
