This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief: “to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not issuing orders for correction of web land in Sy.Nos. 851, 852, 853-1, 2, Rajahnagaram Mandal, East Godavari District belonging to the writ petitioners from non-agriculture to agriculture land in spite of recommendations of the 3rd and 4th respondents vide proceedings dated 19.08.2025 and 17.07.2025 issued in consideration of the reports submitted by respondent nos. 5, 6 and 7 is illegal, arbitrary and violation of Principle of Natural Justice and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to forthwith issue orders for correction of web land for Sy.Nos. 851, 852, 853-1, 2, Rajahnagaram Mandal, East Godavari District by considering the recommendations of 3rd and 4th respondents and pass…” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the 2nd respondent/Joint Collector in not considering the reports submitted by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 vide proceedings dated 19.08.2025 and 17.07.2025 for correction of the Web Land in Sy. Nos. 851, 852, 853-1 and 853-2, situated in Rajahnagaram Mandal, East Godavari District, from non- agricultural lands into agricultural lands. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner had, in fact, made a representation seeking conversion of an extent of Ac.5.43 ::4:: cents from non-agricultural to agricultural land. Pursuant thereto, respondent Nos. 3 and 4 conducted an enquiry and submitted their reports to the 2nd respondent/Joint Collector under proceedings dated 17.07.2025 and 19.08.2025. However, despite receipt of the said reports, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and upon perusal of the material available on record, and in view of the reports submitted by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 dated 17.07.2025 and 19.08.2025, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent–Joint Collector to duly consider the said reports dated 17.07.2025 and 19.08.2025 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. If required, the petitioner shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, interlocutory applications if any pending, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D.
