The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No. 37/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 120B of the I.P.C. and Sections 27, 25(1-A), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Chatra. 3. During the intervening night of 06/07.07.2023, encounter ensued between the Naxals and the police party in Tilsereng Forest area. On being overpowered, the accused persons fled away. 4. It was submitted that none of the police personnel were injured in the said occurrence. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of information given by the police informers. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Chatra in connection with Kunda P.S.
