Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:61350 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 56398 of 2009 Petitioner :- Panchu Ram Respondent :- State of U.P. and Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajesh Kr. Kanojia,Nitin Sharma Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Vineet Pandey,Vinod Kumar Chandel Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. Heard Shri Nitin Sharma, learned counsel assisted by Shri Rajesh Kumar Kanojia, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents No. 1 and 2 and Shri Vinod Kumar Chandel, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4. The petitioner claims that he is entitled to the salary of Tax Inspector and other benefits. He has been performing duties as Tax Inspector since 2001. He has made a representation in this regard but to no avail. Shri Vinod Kumar Chandel, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that the claim for salary of Tax Inspector and other benefits is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In the wake of preceding discussions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No.4-Upper Mukhya Adhikari, Zila Panchayat Sonbhadra is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner regarding the salary of Tax Inspector and other benefits, preferably, within a period of three months as per law from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 23.4.2025 Jaswant Digitally signed by :- JASWANT KUMAR High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
