GP MUNCIPAL ADMN AND URBAN DEV AP The Court made the following: 3 ORDER:- The petitioner filed the present writ petition seeking disbursement of an amount of Rs.14,30,000/- together with interest due and payable on account of the bills submitted by the petitioner. 2. On 16.10.2025, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to submit a copy of the M-book, which would reflect the progress of the work and also the approval of payment in favour of the petitioner by the competent respondent authorities. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.4 to 7 also sought time to get instructions. 3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a copy of the M-book, and the recordings dated 12.06.2023 would indicate the outstanding amount of Rs.12,55,227/-. 4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.4 to 7 submits that, on verification, the respondent Nos.4 to 7 have found that the petitioner would be entitled for an amount of Rs.12,55,227/-. 5. Recording the submissions, this writ petition is disposed off, directing the respondent Nos.2 to 7 to verify and release the payments due and payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall submit a security bond for the amount released, and in case it is found that any excess amount was paid, the department shall be at liberty 4 to take appropriate action for recovery of the same.
