2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. 3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to an order passed by it in an identical issue in W.P.No.3966 of 2023 dated 13.08.2025. 4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the fact that the workers have withdrawn the strike and have resumed to work in the petitioner's company, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the present petition pending and accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed, in view of the subsequent development. 5.
However, if in case, any illegal strike takes place in future, disrupting the running of the factory, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent police seeking for police protection and the respondent police shall act in accordance with the earlier direction given by this Court. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
