(Oral) : Pursuant to the order dated 30.07.2025, a report has been submitted which is taken on record. As per the same, the appellant Ginder @ Kasai has unfortunately expired on 21.05.2014. It has also been reported that upon inquiry, it was found that Ginder @ Kasai was also known as Joginder and his name in the documents was Joginder son of Jarnail Singh. Statements of Santok Singh and Madan Singh (neighbours of the petitioner) were also recorded in this regard and have been placed on record as (Annexures R-1 and R-2). The report of the Investigating Officer has also been placed on record (Annexure R-3). The death certificate of the appellant is also stated to have been verified by the Health Department, New Delhi Municipal Corporation which has been found to be correct. The same has been placed on record (Annexure R-4). 2. Vide judgment of conviction dated 09.06.2003, the petitioner was convicted under Section 392 IPC and vide order of sentence dated MANOJ KUMAR 2025.08.07 10:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document CRR No.907 of 2008 (O&M) 2 10.06.2003, he was sentenced to undergo imprisonment for a period of three years. The appeal preferred by him was partly allowed vide judgment dated 06.11.2007 passed by the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Faridabad whereby while upholding the conviction, the sentence was reduced to one year. 3. Since the petitioner unfortunately expired, thus, the present revision petition abates in terms of the provisions of Section 394 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.), 1973 and is disposed of accordingly. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
