This application has been filed for modification of order dated 30.06.2023 passed in A.B.A. No. 9281 of 2022 with a prayer to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner had moved before this Court in anticipatory bail application vide A.B.A. No. 9281 of 2022 and this Court vide order dated 30.06.2023 had granted anticipatory bail and the petitioner was directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of the order, but the petitioner could not surrender in the court below within the aforesaid period. 4. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is very poor and illiterate person and order could not be communicated to the petitioner by the conducting lawyer, when petitioner came to know about his surrender, the stipulated time was expired and due to that reason, he could not comply with the order of this Hon’ble Court. So, it is prayed that for the ends of justice, the period for surrender of the petitioner in the court below may be extended by further two weeks. 2025:JHHC:33167 5. In view of the above submissions, the order dated 30.06.2023 passed in A.B.A. No. 9281 of 2022 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall surrender before the court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
