The petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family at the hands of respondent No. 5 who is openly threatening the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner raising his grievance moved representations dated 20.07.2024 and 23.07.2024 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) respectively against the respondent but to no avail as no decision has been taken thereupon. However, till date, private respondent No.5 has been roaming around freely and extending threats to the petitioner; the police has made no efforts to arrest him. 3.
