(ORDER) 09.04.2026 Through the medium of this petition, the petitioner has challenged Order No. DIVCOM-“K”/209/2024 dated 12.12.2024 issued by Respondent No.2-Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be detained under Section (3) of the Prevention of Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1998. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the impugned order of detention dated 12.12.2024, executed on 17.12.2024, with the maximum period of one year has already outlived its life.
