4. In course of hearing, it is submitted that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the ratio decided by a coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Prashanta Kumar Sahu vrs. State of Odisha and Others (W.P.(C). No. 18609 of 2025). In the present case, the land in question was recorded as Sarad-III in the pre-settlement records that is Yadast & Jamabandi registers and was subsequently converted to Jungle Kisam without any apparent reason. In the case of Prashanta Kumar Sahu (supra), a similar issue was considered by the coordinate Bench of this Court and the impugned order passed therein was set aside with a direction to the concerned authority to prepare the ROR by correcting the Kisam from Jungle Kisam to the Kisam as reflected in the Jamabandi.
5. Ms. J.Sahoo, learned State counsel fairly submits that the ratio decided in Prashanta Kumar Sahu (supra) applies to the facts of the present case.
6. Having regard to the submissions as above and upon going through the judgment passed in Prashanta Kumar Sahu (supra), this Court deems it proper to dispose of the case in terms of the ratio decided in Prashanta Kumar Sahu (supra). The ROR be corrected accordingly within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
