Vide order dated 27.03.2025, bail application filed on behalf of the accused petitioner was dismissed and petitioner was given liberty to surrender before the learned trial court on or before 15.04.2025. Thereafter, the accused petitioner failed to surrender before the court concerned in time and therefore, he filed a misc. application (No.225/2025) seeking some additional time for surrender. Vide order dated 22.05.2025, the application was allowed and the accused petitioner was given time upto 30.05.2025 for surrendering himself before the court concerned but he did not surrender and now he has again preferred this application seeking some more time for surrender. (2 of 2) [CRLMA-354/2025] No ground is made out to extend some more time to the accused petitioner to surrender before the court concerned. Accordingly, this misc application is dismissed. There is no interim protection from arrest operating in favour of the petitioner and hence, the investigation agency is free to proceed and take appropriate action so as to secure arrest of the petitioner in accordance with law.
