This writ petition has been filed seeking direction upon the respondent no. 2 to give the possession of land in question to petitioner pertaining to Gata No. 100 area 0.013 hectare, situated in Village Sarail, Tehsil Sevrai, District Ghazipur. 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that housing lease was granted to petitioner in the year 2013. According to petitioner approval was granted in the year 2016 but till date the possession of the aforesaid land has not been handed over to petitioner. Petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to provide possession of the land allotted to him in the year 2013. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, requiring the petitioner to move an application before the respondent no. 2 within fifteen days from today. In case, the said application is moved by petitioner alongwith certified copy of this order, the same shall be decided by respondent no. 2, in accordance with law, within a period of next one month, and, if it is found that the said lease still exists petitioner shall be handed over the possession of the said land. 4.
