1. Petitioner has filed the present petition for the following reliefs:
“10.1 that, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent Disciplinary Authority to take a final decision on the pending Departmental Enquiry against the petitioner within a period of two months and further be pleased to issue necessary directions for release of gratuity, family welfare benefits and travelling allowances within the stipulated time frame. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem-fit and appropriate.” Digitally signed by V PADMAVATHI Date: 2025.09.02 10:47:22 +0530

Learned counsel for the petitioner would restrict her submission that the petitioner retired from his service on 30.09.2022 but till date, Gratuity, leave encashment, and Travel Allowance have not been paid to him. Petitioner has made representation on 20.01.2025 to respondent authorities but till now, his representation has not been decided. Therefore, the respondent authorities may be directed to decide the said pending representation in accordance with law within the stipulated time frame.
3. On the other hand, learned State counsel though opposes the petition on merits, however, he has no objection, if such a direction being made to the authorities to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
4. Considering the limited submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, present petition stands disposed of directing respondent-2 to take decision on the pending representation dated 20.01.2025 (Annexure P6) of the petitioner in accordance with law, on its own merits within four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, as per applicable rules and applicable Rules, and Circulars, holding the field.
5. Petitioner to produce copy of this order to respondent-2 within two weeks from today.
