The Court made the following ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue an order or direction one in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the Respondents the following A) To provide the list of all criminal cases pending against the petitioner in the State of Andhra Pradesh along with the copy of FIRs or Charge sheets B) Provide details of issuance of 41-A Crpc or 35(3) BNSS notice issued to the petitioner in all pending cases registered against the petitioner herein in the State of Andhra Pradesh...“
2. Heard Sri Umesh Chandra PVG, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents. 3.
Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the police were not giving opportunity to the petitioner to make a representation to the police to furnish details of criminal cases alleged against him in the State of Andhra Pradesh. 4. As against that, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents would submit that Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of. However, petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the appropriate authority for getting information as to the crimes which are registered against the petitioner in the State of Andhra Pradesh. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ________________________________________
