This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in stopping payment of old age pension to the petitioner from March, 2023. 2. Ms.
P.Venkata Bhavya, learned counsel, representing the learned Standing Counsel for Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, by placing on record the written instructions of the Project Director, DRDA-Velugu, Prakasam District vide Rc.No.D1/Court Cases/29957/2025, dated 19.12.2025 submitted that old age pension payable to the petitioner was restored on 01.12.2025 and arrears would be paid and sought two (02) months time for payment. 3. Ms.Panguluru Rachana, learned counsel for the petitioner, reported no objection for granting two (02) months time for payment of arrears. 4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to pay arrears of pension within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
