The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 258/2023 arising out of Ichak P.S. Case No. 118/2019 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 715/2023, for the offences registered under Section 302/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Hazaribagh. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.595 of 2025 order dated 28.01.2025. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased namely Sameera Devi, who died due to burn injuries in her matrimonial home. It is alleged that the petitioner had immolated her. Report regarding the stage of trial earlier called for, has been received. It appears that charge has been framed in this case on 27.06.2023, but prosecution has not been examined any witness. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2023. Considering the period of custody and fact that there is no progress in the trial, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- I, Hazaribagh, in connection with S.T.
